Hey what's up guys? This is JChunGeek with AccessoryGeeks.com and today I'm going to be doing a product review for the Pry Tool for Hard Cases and Faceplates in blue.
So you're probably looking at this item because you're having a tough time removing the plastic case from your phone. And this item will definitely help you remove the case without breaking the tabs. You're probably, you've already probably tried to remove it and you're worried about breaking the tabs. So maybe you already purchased the plastic case before because you did break the tabs when you tried to remove it.
It is a little tough for those snap on type cases so I would, this item is probably more ideal for the two piece cases that snap on together as opposed to like the slide out QWERTY keyboard cases that just snap on to the front and back of the phone. Those are easier to remove. They don't really require the pry tool but, again, so for iPhone, 2 piece iPhone cases, Samsung Galaxy S cases, for phones like that, this is ideal for those.
So we do have a video to give you guys some sort of visual on how to remove the case. So hopefully this will help you guys out.
We do call it a crowbar because it kind of looks like a little mini crow bar and it made out of plastic so it doesn't scratch up your phone, your expensive or your device so you don't have to worry about that. Most of our cases, some of them do come with a little opening on the side of where you can insert the crowbar to help remove the plastic case. But, as you could see in this picture, you just kind of place it in between the case and all you need to do is kind of slide it around the entire phone case and the tab should pop off one by one without breaking. So, again once those tabs are broken, that's what holds the two plastic cases securely together, so once those are broken, it is actually not, probably not going to work, or the case might be loose and come off easier so.
This item is definitely going to be helpful especially if you have multiple types of plastic cases. If you want to switch plastic cases every day, it does take a few tries to get the hang of it. Might get a little frustrated at first but it will be worth it once you get the hang of it and you are able to remove it a lot faster and without breaking the case. So, yeah.
I always recommend a plastic pry tool for all the plastic cases that you purchase just because it will actually save money instead of you having to purchase a brand new case by breaking the tabs without using the pry tool. You can actually just purchase a pry tool and not break the case.
So it is very useful for removing hard cases, again, you wouldn't need this for a crystal silicone or silicone cases since those are like a one piece case that you are able to easily take on and off the phone. But, yeah, I mean it is made out of really good plastic so it doesn't break, the pry tool won't break. So just don't be too rough with it. You don't need too much force but to remove the case, you just need to learn technique.
Hopefully again the video will help you guys out. And yeah, and hope this video is helpful. Thank for tuning in guys and remember, you got it from a geek.
