You may think adding on a screen protectors on your smartphone is as easy as just removing the adhesive sticker and slapping the screen protector into place. In reality, it is not as easy as it looks. There are little extra steps you will have to take to in order to put on a screen protector perfectly without air bubbles and dust. Along with a screen protector video guide, here is a step-by-step process on how to correctly apply a screen protector on your new smartphone:



How to Put on a Screen Protector

Step 1:

First thing you want to do is remove all of the grease, dust, and grime that is currently on the screen of your phone. To do this, first use an alcohol wipe to get rid of all of the oily residue on the screen. Next, find yourself a dry and lint-free cloth, preferably a micro fiber or glasses cleaning cloth, and wipe off all of the excess droplets of from the alcohol wipes and at the same time removing any speck of dust. Make sure the screen is absolutely clean.

Step 2:

Next, you start with peeling of the adhesive sticker from the top of the screen protector. Then, you match the top, peeled part of the screen protector with the cut-out and camera of your smartphone device. You then slowly peel off the rest of the adhesive tape while gently pushing down on screen protector to apply it onto the screen. Step 3:

So now your screen protector is applied onto the screen of your smartphone device, but you may notice a couple of air bubbles still lingering around. To removed them, you would use a credit card or a card-like squeegee provided with the screen protector to remove the bubbles. You want to use the card and slowly push away the bubbles out of the screen protector. Once all of the bubbles are out, you are done!
