We all knew that Samsung had some really high expectations for their Samsung Galaxy S series of smartphones, but I don’t think that so soon after the phone was released that they would already be so close to the goal of their sales over 1 year. Their goal was 10 million devices sold world wide over the next year, but I don’t think that anyone was expecting them to hit 9.3 million already. This just goes to show the immense amount of success in which the Galaxy S phones are having. Especially in South Korea where 2 million units have been sold, in fact the Galaxy S series outsold the iPhone in total sales despite the iPhone being released in 2009. This is just some insane growth that Samsung is displaying, and this means that it will even show signs of surpassing the iPhone in the not too far future.
