If there are two technologies that have been dominating the headlines recently, it'd be difficult to argue that mobile devices and 3D aren't in the mix. Now, HTC is marrying both with the upcoming launch of its 3D-enabled smartphone.

The electronics manufacturer recently announced that its Android 2.3-powered HTC EVO 3D will be available starting June 24 through Sprint.

Don't worry. You won't have to go around town wearing those goofy glasses to use the smartphone. The EVO 3D's third dimension can be accessed completely glasses-free, meaning users can capture 3D images and videos without sacrificing style.

The smartphone features a 4.3-inch display, dual 5-megapixel cameras and a 1.2-gigahertz dual-core processor. The EVO 3D also runs on Sprint's 4G network.

The smartphone market has exploded in recent years with seemingly countless new handsets from the likes of HTC, Samsung, Apple and others. According to a recent IDC report, HTC's market share grew from 4.9 percent to 8.9 percent year over year in the first quarter of 2011.
