IPad 2 accessories may be passe after Friday's launch of the new iPad 3. A report from Apple Insider said new analysis shows that the company will sell at least 1 million new iPads on the first day of sales.

Analysts Gene Munster and Piper Jaffray said in a note to investors that it is expected that Apple will sell more than 1 million iPads on Friday, which would be a positive for a company that has seen sales of their tablets dip a bit. It is expected by investors that 10 million iPads will be sold in the current quarter.

"That said, even if iPad sales are less than 10 (million) in (the March quarter), we see it as a win-win given investors will attribute the miss to a slowdown ahead of the new iPad and start to anticipate a strong rebound in the June '12 quarter," Munster wrote.

Mashable said it appears as though the success of any Apple iPad will grow with the tablet market, which doesn't seem to be shrinking anytime soon. People who purchase the iPad 3 on day one should take a look at some of the iPad 3 accessories that are starting to leak from different companies.
