iPad and iPhone lovers with a busy lifestyle often have to deal with the distractions of everyday life. The wide variety of iPad and iPhone cases offer seclusion to a user's beloved gadgets, but Audio Technica's new noise-canceling headphones allow users themselves to escape into their own digital world.

The ATH-ANC9 QuietPoint selectable noise cancelation settings. The headphones feature two microphones in each earpiece that pick up background sounds and emit signals that cancel noise by up to 95 percent.

The three noise-cancelation settings are designed for use in different settings, and cancel noise based on the frequency of incoming sound. For example, the first mode focuses on reducing low-frequency sounds. Audio Technica recommends this mode for airplane, train and bus noise. The second mode features mid-range frequency cancelation and the third mode is designed for use in settings that are fairly quiet. The noise cancelation feature can also be turned off.

The headphones also feature an omnidirectional microphone designed for answering calls, and they come with two detachable cables, 1/4-inch adapter, an airline adapter, a hard carrying case and an AAA battery.they come with two detachable cables, 1/4-inch adapter, an airline adapter, a hard carrying case and an AAA battery.
