What could have possibly went wrong for billionaire Richard Branson, airline-and-Formula-One-team-owner, to be forced to be a flight attendant. Well it certainly wasn’t bankruptcy. He simply made a bet with another billionaire Tony Fernandes, also a airline-and-Formula-One-team-owner, about who’s Formula-One team would perform better that year. Both ended up doing fairly poorly this season, however Fernandes’ team did slightly less poorly and therefore Richard Branson must perform duties as a flight attendant on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to England. It is not going to be all bad for Branson though since the flight tickets will be auctioned off, and the proceeds will go to the charity of his choice. In fact in losing this bet Branson really looks like a good guy performing work for charity. The date of the flight hasn’t been scheduled yet, but it is sure to make big news when it does.
