With more than 1 million of the new Apple iPads selling on the first day, that most likely means that some new iPad accessories will need to be purchased for the expensive tablet device. One such case by Boxwave, called the Nuovo, is the first custom-fitting case to hit the market, the company said.

"The Nuovo iPad Case is designed specifically for the new iPad, which is .03 thicker and .11 pounds heavier than the iPad 2," the company said. "The Nuovo Case incorporates a hard shell backing wrapped in leather for extra protection. The cover also features built-in magnets to activate the sleep and wake features of the new iPad. The leatherette cover then folds over and latches safely closed when not in use."

This case allows users to stand the tablet up, lie it flat or essentially put it any way they want. The case is lightweight, textured with leather suede and tries to help protect against screen scratches.

According to the Boxwave website, the iPad 3 cases retail for about $60 and are currently out. The company said they want to make sure iPad owners don't have to lose form or function for style or vice versa.
