Although many of us may be excited about the possibility of a May 26 launch for the Motorola Droid X2, there have really only been some tid bits of information which has been released, which may pose the problem of there being some features or parts of the phone which have yet to be decided. The Droid X is already a very impressive and powerful Android device, but the Droid X2 will feature a dual-core Tegra 2 1Ghz processor, 8mp camera, up to 1080p HD video, and possibly Android 2.3. This is all very good news for the Droid X2, but expecting there to be Android 2.3 on the device may still be a stretch. To make sure that no one goes crazy from expecting Android 2.3 it is a much better mindset to believe that it will come out with Android 2.3.
I personally think that with the lack of information it may still be questionable if it is 100% ready for a May 26 release, but I can say for sure that there is little or nothing that can be done to make this phone more attractive other than the guarantee to have Android 2.3 ready to go on the device. I am sure many of us already know by now that the Droid X is very popular with it’s large display and wide range of features so it is a bit tough to outdo. I think that Motorola truly did an amazing job of powering up and making an already attractive phone even more attractive. Whether it is released on May 26 or not it is still a phone which I believe is worth waiting to get.
