Finally after long months of waiting we see that Froyo is coming to T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant. Ever since it’s release last year we have been waiting for an update for Android, which is rather disappointing considering how good this phone is. T-Mobile will be the first of the major carriers to release this update, but we can’t just expect the other carriers to sit still and not release an update soon. According to sources, this update took so long due to quality and timing issues, since it is apparently a lot of work to get the skin of the OS and the wi-fi calling (unconfirmed) ready. Either way it is a good thing for all T-Mobile customers who will be the first to have Android 2.2 Froyo on their Vibrants.
