With many new smartphones and tablets coming out, there is bound to be some great new tablet and mobile phone accessories following. Intel is one company that will try to push the industry by partnering with Lenovo for a new phone with the Intel Atom processor, which should hit the market later this year.
At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Paul Otellini, president and CEO of Intel, said the company is looking to alter the way the Ultrabook is seen by users and will look to develop products to offer better performance of devices.
"The partnership includes the smartphones that Motorola will start to deliver in the second half of this year, terminal that will integrate Intel Atom processors and will run the Android platform," according to Smartphone Biz News. "Collaboration, which also covers tablets, combines Intel’s leadership in terms of technology based on silicon and innovations in the computer industry with Motorola’s experience in terms of design for mobile equipments."
With the range of new Intel- and Lenovo-powered devices coming out, expect some new cell phone accessories to follow from the company and others soon after in 2012.
