People who need to have their blood glucose level frequently checked know how much of a hassle it can be to pause a day to test, but it may have just gotten a bit easier thans to a cell phone accessory.
The Smart GlucoMeter, made by iHealth, accepts test strips and, when partnered with an app, can process, track and chart blood glucose readings. The app can show users' averages in increments of seven, 14 and 30 days and create simple charts and reminders.

The company also has a wireless body fat scale that records body composition components such as weight, body fat and muscle mass on any Apple device. These could be great and much-needed cellphone accessories for those who are struggling with their health.
