Who would have thought the IPhone could cause trouble in our law systems? We all know now thanks to a Florida juror that the use of smartphones during trials can be causes of a mistrial. The juror during a break went to go look up the definition of prudent on his IPhone. This was later reported to the defense counsel which led to a hearing and it was determined that their was a juror’s misconduct. This meant that the accused murder would get a fresh trial all over looking up the word prudent on an IPhone.
