Let’s be perfectly honest with ourselves, the age to own a computer is getting younger and younger. I remember getting my first desktop computer at the age of 10 and I was so happy even though it was a clunky old desktop computer. Nowadays they have laptops designed with kids in mind. These laptops boast a spill proof keyboard, a touch screen, webcam, rubberized outer casing for grip, and the ability to withstand minor drops. I personally feel it is a bit much for parents to go out of their way to purchase a $600 laptop for their children with 15 pre-loaded educational games. It would make more sense to just save the money and teach the kids yourself. This is however a decision that should be left up to the parents.
