With the style and looks of a Game Boy you may not have thought that this was meant to be used a a digital audio workstation. The KDJ-One is a very cool device which may not appear in any everyday music store, but it is still cool to hear about with all of the cool specs it has. For one thing it has a d-pad and a rumble pack which scream gaming. Then we see that it also has a resistive touch screen which is also very common in gaming devices. It is not until we dive into the innards of the KDJ-One that we realize it is more like an underpowered netbook. The KDJ-One has a Atom E640 CPU, 512MB of RAM, a 4GB SSD drive, and a pair of 2000mAh batteries. You could probably get more production out of a cheap netbook, but this is something which may change the digital audio workstation industry forever.
