Though the Motorola Droid 3 may still be a few weeks away from seeing the light of day, a recently leaked document from Verizon revealed a number of enticing mobile phone accessories slated to arrive with the smartphone.
An image of the document, obtained by Droid Life, showed the Android-based smartphone would be released alongside an inductive battery door, a window mount, a multimedia dock and, of course, a slew of protective covers in a variety of colors.
The document also revealed that an extended battery would be available with the slider Motorola handset, which will be advantageous for owners looking to get their money's worth out of Verizon's soon-to-be-extinct unlimited plan.
Motorola officially announced the Droid 3 in China last month under the name XT883 – as part of the Milestone family. Though the general consensus is that the handset will be known as the Droid 3 in the United States.
According to Motorola, the Droid 3 will include a dual-core processor, rear- and front-facing cameras, a full QWERTY keyboard and will run on Android 2.3, or Gingerbread.
