LifeProof recently designed a new line of iPhone cases that the company claims will protect against most extreme conditions. This protective case will keep the iPhone 4/4s safe while showering, skiing, snowboarding and submerged underwater.

Available in black and white and made to U.S. and U.K. military standards, the LifeProof case features an anti-reflection coated optical lens. The case itself is waterproof and protects the iPhone in up to 6.6 feet of water.

With the case weighing less than an ounce and only adding 1/16 of an inch to the thickness of the iPhone, it’ll be difficult to notice the case is even there, and its design offers more than just unobtrusive portability. In addition to allowing access to all iPhone features, the case utilizes its own back as a subwoofer to enhance the iPhone’s speaker sound quality.

"With LifeProof, it is no longer about fear of damaging your iPhone, but instead it's about all of the things that you are now able to do with your device, such as using it to take HD videos underwater or accessing apps while running or on your mountain bike," said Gary Rayner, CEO of LifeProof.
