With the new, third generation iPad out, a number of new iPad 3 cases and accessories are starting to be heavily released. MacWorld has a new post highlighting some of these cases, including The Garrison by BodyGuards, which the websites called " a durable and sleek folio that can be used to prop up your tablet for viewing or typing, thanks to a fold-up front cover compatible with the iPad's magnetic wake/sleep feature."
Other cases shouted out by MacWorld include the Crystal Protector by Green Onions Supply, which the website said features an improved oleophobic coating for the screen protection that helps keep the iPad screen clean of fingerprints and other scuffs. There is also a range of carrying pouches by Kleber-Taschen that range from "trendy to the decidedly quirky," according to MacWorld.
There are also new products talked about by MacWorld, including the Miniot Cover Mk, the ReflexCase and the Crater by Timbuk2.
PCMag said many cases that were iPad 2 accessories may not fit on the new device, so owners may have to purchase a new case. However, the website points out that Apple's own Smart Cover does still work with the device.
