Everyone is facing their own issues with a falling economy but Nokia seems to be hurting the most in the mobile phone industry. To begin with the are dead last in the smartphone race, their top executives are leaving them, and they have yet to land any major deal with their cell phones. It also doesn’t help that their second largest selling location, India, has dropped by 20%. This is a huge blow for the Finnish company which was once the most common phone in that area. Although this may be tough to swallow for you Nokia fans things are not looking up at all for Nokia. They may even be going under sometime in the near future. This could be due to their negligence of the growing demand for smartphones, their lack of competitive urgency to push out some more stream line smartphones, or just the pride of Nokia refusing to use OS’ like Android. The only ones they have to blame for this current crisis is themselves.
