Apparently if you want to have wi-fi on your new Motorola Xoom tablet it will cost you at least one month of data. This may be the first Android 3.0 tablet released so far, but it is not worth going through the trouble of activating data for a month and then cancelling it the next month. The best possible situation for this is that this is merely a typo on the Best Buy flyer, but if it is not then in a best case scenario it is something you can activate and cancel on the same day and purchase. This is not to go without the possible activation charge and usual one month charge immediately for the data plan. Odds are Verizon is just trying to get some extra money out of us or getting us to get used to having that data plan so that we stay on the data plan.
