With iPad 2 accessories seemingly dominating the market as far as tablet and mobile phone accessories are concerned, there seems to be some fire building behind Android products, as well. The Philips AS351 is a new Android dock that will connect to a phone through a MicroUSB connector that can swivel 180 degrees, according to Gadget Review.
"I’ve had the AS351 for an extended period, and it has worked excellently with any Android device," a Gadget Review blogger said. "I’ve tested around eight different Android devices with it, including several Samsung Galaxy S II phones, the Galaxy Players, the T-Mobile myTouch and myTouch Q, etc. They all work just fine with this dock."
The blog said this dock doubles as a mini boom box that can last for a good seven to 10 hours of playing back on double A batteries. The Android-based dock also works with any Bluetooth advice, the blog says.
Philips said this device has crystal-clear sound, describing it as being elegant, compact and very easy to use. These mobile phone accessories retail at about $130.
