Up until now Blackberry has been pretty stingy with sharing their software on other devices. It appears now that it would not be all too crazy to see Blackberry Messenger on a an Android or iPhone sometime in the perceivable future. This may seem like a huge step for them, but it is more of a clever business scheme to get people back onto their Blackberrys. Since the large wave of these new smartphone devices have been coming out most companies, if not all, have eased up a bit on what is an appropriate work phone, and that seems to have left Blackberry high and dry. But by sharing their management software they would be getting these different companies all reverting back to their old Blackberry habits. It’s a very bold move which could really put Blackberry right back on top of the smartphone world.
