Electronics manufacturer Samsung today released its sophomore effort in the media tablet and accessories market. But unless you live in New York, you're going to have to wait a few days to get your hands on the Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Fortunately, the Android-based tablet is now also available for pre-order on Best Buy's website.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is expected to be available nationwide on June 17. But for those already sold on the latest effort from Samsung, 16-gigabyte and 32-gigabyte Wi-Fi-only models can be purchased now.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is Samsung's first to run on Android 3.1, or Honeycomb. The tablet also features a 1.0-gigahertz dual-core processor, two cameras, Adobe Flash Player support and an array of ports for tablet accessories.

Verizon also announced that it is now accepting pre-orders for a 4G LTE-enabled version of the tablet. Also available in 16GB and 32GB models, the tablets from Verizon cost a bit more and require a two-year agreement.
