It has just been announced today via Twitter that the new Samsung Continuum will be shipping out on November 11. This is some pretty exciting news since this is a new phone for the Galaxy S series and it is featuring a dedicated ticker screens to give you updates without turning on your phones screen every time you want to check. This is not just a small display screen though, the ticker in itself will be a small capacitive touch screen. The Continuum will be going to Verizon and will have 3.4-inch Super AMOLED primary display, 1.8-inch Super AMOLED secondary “ticker” display, 1ghz hummingbird processor, grip sensors to let the phone know when to turn the ticker screen on, wi-fi, Android OS 2.1, a 5mp camera, and it shoots in 720p HD. With it’s two Super AMOLED screens that is reason enough to consider this phone.
