The new iPad isn't on the market yet, but Targus said it already has a line of new cases tailored for the Apple tablet. The company said it is one of the first to make cases for the new device.

"The iPad has become a personal extension for each user," said Phil Palmer, product management of accessories and tablets at the company. "Each of our new cases for the new iPad was designed to specifically meet the individual needs of the iPad user. The cases combine fresh new designs and broadly appealing colors with premium materials and finishes to enhance the overall experience. Our Slim and Elegant cases offer a light and functional solution that complements the new iPad, while our Higher Utility Cases offer the utmost in protection and function."

Cases include slim cases of different colors for about $50, a Vuscape case that the company said offers everything is needed for an iPad case for about $40, a business folio and stand for on-the-go tablet users for about $50 and the Versavu case, one of the more popular cases for the iPad by Targus for about $70.

IT Pro Portal said the iPad accessories have some great features, including the Vuscape case that has useful pockets for business cards, pens or a stylus.
