We all know that Apple seems to have released an app for just about everything that you would possibly need, but now there seems to be an app to help to help you check your conscience. This app is called, Confessions: A Roman Catholic App. For many people this is a quick and easy way to check your conscience, but that doesn’t mean that you can skip out on seeing a priest or anything. Although this app was designed by Rev. Thomas G. Weinandy, OFM, Executive Director of the Secretariat for Doctrine and Pastoral Practices of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, and Rev. Dan Scheidt, pastor of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Mishawaka, IN. The app received an imprimatur from Bishop Kevin C. Rhodes of the Diocese of Fort Wayne – South Bend, and it is the very first app of it’s kind, the Vatican is not very happy with what they have done. I personally feel that they should not charge for religion like the Roman Catholic church is since they are attempting to monopolize on their religion.
