Kyocera has finally unveiled the Kyocera Mako S4000. Acting as a replacement and much more for the Kyocera K323, the Kyocera Mako S4000 comes at a much thinner and lighter cell phone. Some additions have been added for the Kyocera Mako S4000 and some Mako’s even has support for CDMA 1700. Kyocera has made the Mako S4000 to have a very simplistic design and decent set of midrange features, some of them basic features of a Kyocera cell phone and some additional compelling modern features which make the Kyocera Mako S4000 better than other phones. The Mako has a super thin profile and measures only at 0.67 inches depth. The outside of the phone has a sleek and shine look to it while the colorful external LCD screen sits right below the VGA cell phone camera. Below the external LCD screen display features a small retro mesh design. Kyocera has also added a speaker as an exclusive touch which has won many praises during the Mako’s user testing.
The Kyocera Mako S4000 measures in at 3.5 inches by 1.84 inches by 0.67 inches and is a clamshell phone with an internal antenna. Powered by a 790 mAh Lilon battery, the Kyocera Mako S4000 offers up to 4.1 hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of talk time. The inner LCD screen display measures at 1.8 inches diagonally with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and 262, 144 colors (16-bit). The Kyocera Mako S4000 can hold up to 250 contacts inside it’s phone book.
Other features of the Mako includes Bluetooth (version 1.2), text and multimedia messaging, voice commands, a speaker phone, basic organizer features, instant messaging, BREW and a WAP web browser. The Mako also offers up to 28 MB of built in phone memory which allows photos, music and other data to be added.
