Despite being on the radar under many different names HTC has decided to go with the simple name of HTC Evo 4G Shift. Previously when we received new about this phone the specs were actually a very big let down and it did not seem like it would be worth purchasing. Now that there have been some of the specs released from Walmart the HTC Evo 4G Shift is really shaping up to be a very nice phone.

Normally when there are sequels of phones, the sequel usually has some much improved features however with the HTC Evo 4G Shift it almost appears as if the phone has been slightly downgraded. The HTC Evo 4G Shift does have a full QWERTY keyboard however the processor power of the Evo 4G Shift does seem to be a step down from the regular Evo.

Based upon the simple words of a Sprint employee and based on the looks of this phone this is the HTC Evo Shift 4G or HTC Knight. The phone itself does not look necessarily special with it’s old style QWERTY keyboard, lack of a front facing camera, and the fact that the screen in the image is photo shopped.

Want to turn your IPod Touch into an IPhone. With the Sprint ZTE Peel you can. It is an IPod Touch case that is also a 3G hotspot. This means you will be able to access your wi-fi at all times, making usage of Skype and other calling and texting applications work anywhere on the fly. It is always nice to be able to have wi-fi, but there are some drawbacks. For one it will cost you $80 for the case itself and then an additional $30 for a measly 1GB of data to be shared between two devices. This does not amount to much at all compared to how much money you will be spending on this.

If you thought Blackberry would simply stop at a sliding touchscreen Blackberry with full QWERTY you are totally wrong. They will be releasing the first Blackberry Flip Phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. The Blackberry Style will be hitting Sprint at the end of the month with preorders starting tomorrow.

HTC continues to push out excellent devices for all of it’s customers. The new HTC 7 Pro looks fantastic and despite running the new Windows OS the device itself is built to the peak smartphone design. The HTC 7 Pro will be sporting a 5-row QWERTY keyboard, which I feel every cell phone with a keyboard should have, and the handy tilting function known to come with HTC sliders.

That’s right the three new Android smartphones coming out to Sprint will be coming out the the available Sprint ID. Sprint Id for those of you who don’t know what Sprint Id is, it is a new way of customizing your widgets. At first only a few Sprint ID custom app and widget packs will be out but that will increase as this feature is used more.
