The OnePlus 5 is the latest flagship from OnePlus. It boasts dual rear camera, Snapdragon 835 CPU, a whopping 6GB – 8GB RAM, up to 128GB storage, and Android Nougat. For those who prefer unlocked handsets and want to spend less than $500 on a top phone, the OnePlus 5 might be worth your while.
It still has a 5.5 inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display with “Dual Camera, Clearer Photos.” It point to a 23 megapixel rear shooter and a 16 megapixel front facing shooter for selfies and video chats. The OnePlus 5 is a metal and glass slab that comes in black or dark gray. It’s not waterproof, nor even water resistant. This, in addition to the curved edges, U-type antenna bands, and replacement of LED flash, makes the OnePlus 5 look both like the iPhone 7 Plus and the more recent OPPO R11.
Additionally, OnePlus 5 had clearer details and had less distortion and showing the improvements they did with how the microphone picks up audio. A fingerprint scanner up front, battery capacity was reported at 3300mAh and should support Dash Charge quick charging. It has all the hallmarks of a top-tier device – classy design, high performance specs and yet it sells for hundred less than what’s offered by the industry leaders. If you want top performance for the dollar, the OnePlus 5 is a good place to start.
